只要成就你的意思 — 路加福音读经随笔 第22章

路加福音第二十二章第40—46节讲述的是耶稣受难前向天父祷告，问天父能否将这十字架的杯撤去。马太福音，马可福音也记录了这一段。耶稣祷告说：“父阿，你若愿意就把这杯撤去，然而不要成就我的意思，只要成就你的意思”。耶稣知道自己按经上所预定的就要面临十字架的刑罚了，心里极其伤痛。耶稣受刑罚不是为了他自己，而是为了我们这些罪人啊。十字架上的刑罚是何等的痛苦，耶稣要用他的肉身和宝血来替我们担当。当然耶稣明白，父不会把这杯撤去的，因为他来到世上本是为此而来的，正如耶稣在第37节所说：“这话必应验在我身上，因为那关系我的事必然成就”。

路22:37 我告诉你们、经上写着说、『他被列在罪犯之中。』这话必应验在我身上、因为那关系我的事、必然成就。
For I tell you that this which is written must still be fulfilled in me: 'He was counted with transgressors.' For that which concerns me has an end."
路22:40 到了那地方、就对他们说、你们要祷告、免得入了迷惑。
When he was at the place, he said to them, "Pray that you don't enter into temptation."
路22:41 于是离开他们、约有扔一块石头那么远、跪下祷告、
He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and he knelt down and prayed,
路22:42 说、父阿、你若愿意、就把这杯撤去．然而不要成就我的意思、只要成就你的意思。
saying, "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."
路22:43 有一位天使从天上显现、加添他的力量。
An angel from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him.
路22:44 耶稣极其伤痛、祷告更加恳切．汗珠如大血点、滴在地上。
Being in agony he prayed more earnestly. His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground.
路22:45 祷告完了、就起来、到门徒那里、见他们因为忧愁都睡着了．
When he rose up from his prayer, he came to the disciples, and found them sleeping because of grief,
路22:46 就对他们说、你们为甚么睡觉呢．起来祷告、免得入了迷惑。
and said to them, "Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation."
