舍己是什么意思

舍己在合和本圣经里大约出现了7次，并且都是出现在新约里。其中福音书里出现了3次，其它书信里出现了4次，而前3次说的意思和后4次说的意思截然不同。

舍己在新约里出现的前3次都是耶稣在福音书里说的: "若有人要跟从我，就当舍己"。这里"舍己"原文的意思是"否定自己"，即否定自己在认识耶稣以前在世界里所学的思维逻辑，从而能够顺从耶稣的话(即基督的灵)，悔改转向耶稣，通过耶稣得救。

舍己在新约里出现的后4次都是在保罗的书信里。其中3次的意思是说耶稣为了我们的罪舍命，牺牲在十字架上; 第四次的地方，意思是说基督徒假设能够为了耶稣的道舍命受迫害，但是却没有爱，那么这种舍命仍是无益的。

可见舍己在新约里出现的前3次的意思与后4次的意思是完全不同的。
