'老我'和'新造的人'

罗马书第七章和第八章把基督徒的"老我"和"新造的人"都说清楚了。

"老我"就是那取死的身体。取死就是遭死或必死的意思。保罗说肉体里没有良善，因为肉体顺服罪的律。在肉体里"我所愿意的善，我反不作，我所不愿意的恶，我倒去作"，结果就是"立志为善由得我，只是行出来由不得我"。 可见这是何等的痛苦，在罪的驱使下，做不愿意去做的恶事。 然而神体贴我们肉体的软弱，派遣他的儿子道成肉身，把众人的罪惩罚在他儿子的身体上。因此，在耶稣基督里的人，他的"老我"即肉身已与基督同钉十字架而死，同时他的罪在十字架上被惩罚在了耶稣身上。这就是为什么保罗说"感谢神，靠着我们的主耶稣基督就能脱离了" 这取死的身体。

格林多后书说" 若有人在基督里，他就是新造的人．旧事已过，都变成新的了。" 这是因为我们受了圣灵的洗，思维从此不再跟随肉体而行，而是跟随圣灵而行，所以圣灵的律在基督耶稣里便使我们脱离了罪和死的律，成为了新造的人; 使律法的义成就在我们这不随从肉体，只随从圣灵的人身上。靠着圣灵，我们就会时刻意识到主耶稣基督已经担当了我们的罪，治死了我们身体的恶行，现在我们已经是义的奴仆了。基督的灵就是耶稣的话，就是福音真理。圣灵保惠师总会让我们想起耶稣的话，看到神的爱。从此行事为人不再顺从肉体，而是顺从圣灵了。圣灵给于生命与平安!

举个例子说明什么是随从肉体什么是随从圣灵。比如说你的爱人做了一件令你非常生气的事，若你在这个时候随从肉体，你就会觉得自己是对的，对方是错的，你就会论断他，骂他甚至打他。若你在这个时候随从圣灵，你就会意识到在肉体里大家都是罪人，都是软弱的，都会犯错，同时会想起耶稣所教导的不要论断人，而是要赦免，免人的债，彼此相爱，这样家里的平安一下子就都来了。

罗7:15 因为我所作的、我自己不明白．我所愿意的、我并不作．我所恨恶的、我倒去作。
For I don't know what I am doing. For I don't practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do.
罗7:16 若我所作的、是我所不愿意的、我就应承律法是善的。
But if what I don't desire, that I do, I consent to the law that it is good.
罗7:17 既是这样、就不是我作的、乃是住在我里头的罪作的。
So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.
罗7:18 我也知道、在我里头、就是我肉体之中、没有良善．因为立志为善由得我、只是行出来由不得我。
For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.
罗7:19 故此、我所愿意的善、我反不作．我所不愿意的恶、我倒去作。
For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice.
罗7:20 若我去作所不愿意作的、就不是我作的、乃是住在我里头的罪作的。
But if what I don't desire, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.
罗7:21 我觉得有个律、就是我愿意为善的时候、便有恶与我同在。
I find then the law, that, to me, while I desire to do good, evil is present.
罗7:22 因为按着我里面的意思。〔原文作人〕我是喜欢神的律．
For I delight in God's law after the inward man,
罗7:23 但我觉得肢体中另有个律、和我心中的律交战、把我掳去叫我附从那肢体中犯罪的律。
but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members.
罗7:24 我真是苦阿、谁能救我脱离这取死的身体呢。
What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death?
罗7:25 感谢神、靠着我们的主耶稣基督就能脱离了。这样看来、我以内心顺服神的律．我肉体却顺服罪的律了。
I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God's law, but with the flesh, the sin's law.
罗8:1 如今那些在基督耶稣里的、就不定罪了。
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
罗8:2 因为赐生命圣灵的律、在基督耶稣里释放了我、使我脱离罪和死的律了。
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
罗8:3 律法既因肉体软弱、有所不能行的、神就差遣自己的儿子、成为罪身的形状、作了赎罪祭、在肉体中定了罪案．
For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;
罗8:4 使律法的义、成就在我们这不随从肉体、只随从圣灵的人身上。
that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
罗8:5 因为随从肉体的人、体贴肉体的事．随从圣灵的人、体贴圣灵的事。
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
罗8:6 体贴肉体的就是死．体贴圣灵的乃是生命平安．
For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;
罗8:7 原来体贴肉体的、就是与神为仇．因为不服神的律法、也是不能服。
because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.
罗8:8 而且属肉体的人、不能得神的喜欢。
Those who are in the flesh can't please God.
罗8:9 如果神的灵住在你们心里、你们就不属肉体、乃属圣灵了．人若没有基督的灵、就不是属基督的。
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.
罗8:10 基督若在你们心里、身体就因罪而死、心灵却因义而活．
If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
罗8:11 然而叫耶稣从死里复活者的灵、若住在你们心里、那叫基督耶稣从死里复活的、也必借着住在你们心里的圣灵、使你们必死的身体又活过来。
But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
罗8:12 弟兄们、这样看来、我们并不是欠肉体的债、去顺从肉体活着。
So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
罗8:13 你们若顺从肉体活着必要死．若靠着圣灵治死身体的恶行必要活着。
For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
罗8:14 因为凡被神的灵引导的、都是 神的儿子。
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.

 林后5:17 若有人在基督里、他就是新造的人．旧事已过、都变成新的了。
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

西2:11 你们在他里面、也受了不是人手所行的割礼、乃是基督使你们脱去肉体情欲的割礼．
in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ;
