从圣母院的大火说说教堂的作用

作为文化上的瑰宝，艺术里的珍品，巴黎圣母院被大火烧坏了，谓之惋惜。据维基百科，失火点位于教堂阁楼处，大火导致其尖顶坍塌，中后部的木质屋顶完全被烧毁，而其石制的拱顶大部分得以保存。作为 “法国和欧洲文化的一个象征”， 在得以修复之前，据说不再对游客们开放，因此这会让未来的很多游客不禁失望。

对于基督徒而言，由于神不住人手所造的殿，所以从主的福音角度上说，巴黎圣母院与普通的教堂一样: 作用就是传扬耶稣基督的福音，主的信徒们通过在教堂听道，聚会和赞美而使福音得以巩固，从而在主的爱里接出果子来。其实凡具备这些功能的地方都可称之为教堂，比如家庭教会。圣经里说，神不住在教会的建筑物里，因为他不住人手所造的殿，而是住在他自己亲手所造的殿。人的身体就是神亲手所造的，因此，我们的身体才是神真正的殿，因为神的圣灵住在我们的心上。无论教堂多么华丽，无非是悦人的眼目和展示人的建筑能力(即人的荣耀)而已。

说到敬拜，基督徒需要用圣灵和真理来敬拜, 圣灵住在我们心里，而真理是耶稣。因此，耶稣曾说，拜父既不在这山上，也不在耶路撒冷(耶路撒冷有豪华的圣殿)。敬拜用圣灵和耶稣足以，不论是在教堂还是不在教堂!

耶稣只在圣殿里面讲道吗？耶稣的门徒只在圣殿里听道吗？耶稣讲道可谓随时随地: 在船上，在河边，在山上，在坐席的时候，在行路的时候，在门徒家里......天父赐耶稣圣灵是没有限量的，他讲的都是从父那里听来的真理，他的讲道都是在敬拜父和荣耀父! 

有专门的教堂传道听道，是为了传扬和巩固主的爱与福音; 同样，随时随地的传道听道，也是传扬和巩固主的爱与福音。可见，福音的传扬是不拘一格的! 只是注意这道必须是持守耶稣基督的道，如果不是，就不要欢迎它。

However, the Most High doesn't dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says,

徒17:24 创造宇宙和其中万物的神、既是天地的主、就不住人手所造的殿．
The God who made the world and all things in it, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, doesn't dwell in temples made with hands,

林前3:16 岂不知你们是神的殿、神的灵住在你们里头么?
Don't you know that you are a temple of God, and that God's Spirit lives in you?

罗8:9 如果神的灵住在你们心里、你们就不属肉体、乃属圣灵了．人若没有基督的灵、就不是属基督的。
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

约二1:9 凡越过基督的教训、不常守着的、就没有神．常守这教训的、就有父又有子。
Whoever transgresses and doesn't remain in the teaching of Christ, doesn't have God. He who remains in the teaching, the same has both the Father and the Son.

If anyone comes to you, and doesn't bring this teaching, don't receive him into your house, and don't welcome him
