圣经是关于福音的

旧约圣经和新约圣经统概起来就是关于两个字: 福音

旧约是新约的预表，是给耶稣作见证的，见证那将要在新约里到来的耶稣和他的福音。这在旧约里有摩西和众先知的话为证，这些话耶稣在去往以马忤斯的路上给门徒讲解了个明白。新约圣经里耶稣按父神的旨意来到世间传讲并成就福音，死在十字架上替世人赎了罪，让信他的有神的义和永生，做神的儿女，承受神的祝福和应许，这就是因信称义的福音。耶稣为人的罪而死和为人的义而复活。新约里信徒是新造的人，而非改良的; 是从神生的，而非从肉身生的; 是义人，而非仍是罪人，因为信徒有耶稣的所赐之义。约翰福音里耶稣说(旧约)圣经是为他做见证的。

世人若承认自己是罪人(这里的罪人是指sinner,而非criminal)，并相信耶稣的拯救，就接受了耶稣基督为救主，就相信了福音。耶稣基督是唯一的救主，完成了拯救工作，一次献上就在父右边坐下了。世人只需通过认识耶稣并他钉十字架领受这大爱就是了。

约5:39 你们查考圣经〔或作应当查考圣经〕因你们以为内中有永生．给我作见证的就是这经。
"You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.

提前1:15 基督耶稣降世、为要拯救罪人．这话是可信的、是十分可佩服的... 
The saying is faithful and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 

路15:7 我告诉你们、一个罪人悔改、在天上也要这样为他欢喜、较比为九十九个不用悔改的义人、欢喜更大。 
I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance. 

约1:12-13 凡接待他的、就是信他名的人、他就赐他们权柄作神的儿女。 这等人不是从血气生的、不是从情欲生的、也不是从人意生的、乃是从 神生的。
But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name: who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 

加2:17 我们若求在基督里称义、却仍旧是罪人、难道基督是叫人犯罪的么．断乎不是。 
But if, while we sought to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, is Christ a servant of sin? Certainly not! 

约3:16 神爱世人、甚至将他的独生子(耶稣)赐给他们、叫一切信他的、不至灭亡、反得永生。 
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 

约3:18 信他的人不被定罪．不信的人罪已经定了、因为他不信神独生子的名。 
He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God. 

约16:33 我(耶稣)将这些事告诉你们、是要叫你们在我里面有平安。在世上你们有苦难．但你们可以放心、我已经胜了世界。 
I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
