一剑飘尘同学给美国议员的信

俩地方我认为挺有特色：

一是这段： I am aware of  Chinese culture and mentality are different. Breaking a premise or cheating is not unusual. 

我觉得能这么深切的对议员批评自己民族的缺点，挺有特性。

 

二是这段：It is our last chance for America to get rid of China! Before China join WTO, we already is the strongest country in this world. We don’t need china.The Chinese government is the vampire  and destroyer of this world.

这里明显看出作者是希望美国get rid of China的。注意，作者很明显知道"China"与"Chinese government"的差别，对这两个说法，文中在不同情况下，是根据场合，选择使用的。

我的看法是，这样的同学比较少见。就这样子：-）

 

如果有的同学愿意“解释”他这些话，请便 - 我不做解释，所以您的解释与我没有矛盾。咱们最多可能有矛盾的就是您可能不同意“这样的同学比较少见”这个结论。这无妨，小矛盾，不值得费劲争。

信件原文：

Dear Ed Royce:

 

I am xxx, a voter in your electoral district. I want to tell you that many people living in this district don’t like the China US joint statement of trade war. If you have time, please call some people living in this district. You will be surprised how many people are disappointed.

 

The reason of trade deficit is because China government controls China market, doesn’t follow the rule of market sturctrues. If we simply just enforce  Chinese government to purchase products from us, it will not resolve the roots of the problem. On the contrary, we are indirectly helping Chinese government become stronger. Gradually, it will be more difficult for US based companies to operate business in  China. We as United States of America is stronger than China, that is the reason why Chinese government have to negotiate with us. Will it last as time goes by, when US is concession to many key policies and decision to China , when one day, China has became a commensurate  level with US,I personally hope not, thus, by regulating and enforcing solely on increasing our trad to China is not  sustainable.

 

In addition, we could not rely on  Chinese government public announcement, After 2001, China joined WTO, the government seems not corporate the policies of WTO. 

 

I live in China almost 30 years. I am aware of  Chinese culture and mentality are different. Breaking a premise or cheating is not unusual. If we can’t build up a solid and retractable system with China,  the deals we have with the government  will be fruitless . Chinese government agrees to buy products from us, is their common  strategy: waiting for the next presidency. The new form of negotiation will restart over, whatever efforts we did for past 4 years, would not be able to obtained.

 

During the trade negotiation , there is no affiliated alley, it will be only a matter of doing right and good thing for our country of our people  so many years to come to pass to our next generation.

 

It is our last chance for America to get rid of China! Before China join WTO, we already is the strongest country in this world. We don’t need china.The Chinese government is the vampire  and destroyer of this world.

 

Please share this to the members of legislative, We could possibly re-consider ever opinions that are related to China trade.
