公木砸坛：我爱听的乡村歌曲（20）Breathe by Faith Hill

        Faith Hill（国内翻译为 菲斯·希尔），国内最熟悉她的歌应该是“There You’ll Be”，电影“Pearl Harbor”(珍珠港)的片尾曲。这位来自美国密西西比小镇的歌手，Faith Hill的成长和爱情故事都是一种美国梦的实现，而被人们称为“国民天后”。

 

          Breathe (呼吸)是Faith Hill 1999年专辑"Breathe"中的同名歌曲，也是专辑首支主打单曲，这首歌的音乐风格反映了她对乡村音乐、流行音乐、福音赞美诗、节奏音乐和布鲁斯音乐的喜爱。歌曲仅用时四周便问鼎Billboard Country charts（公告牌乡村音乐排行榜），在Billboard Hot 100取得了亚军的成绩，成为2000年Billboard （公告牌）年终冠军单曲，Faith Hill 凭借这首歌拿走了2000年Grammy （格莱美）Best Female Country Vocal Performance（最佳乡村女歌手）、 Best Country Song（最佳乡村歌曲）两项大奖。

         翻开美国告示牌（Billboard）杂志单曲榜的历史，谁敢宣称自己的歌曲占了三席？ Faith Hill办到了，这位2000年红遍全美的实力派美女歌手，在9月同时以“Breathe”、“The Way You Love Me”及“Let’s Make Love”三首歌曲占据排行榜：挺立单曲榜48周的亚军曲“Breathe”在抒情榜写下17周冠军纪录 ，也是千禧年年度抒情冠军曲 ；“The Way You Love Me”以性感甜美造型二度打入排行榜，被一致看好再为Faith写下佳绩；“Let’s Make Love” 则是Faith 和乐坛天王老公 Tim McGraw 三度对唱的恩爱情歌，夫妇浓浓爱意燃烧人心，再造话题。在此同时，她的冠军专辑“呼吸”已写下四百万张的惊人销售，过去四张大碟总销量更达1500万张，六年来Faith Hill已经拿到 26 座音乐奖项。

 

       不过Faith的千禧年神话还没有停止，2000年，她先后在Super Bowl（超级杯）、Grammy （葛莱美奖）、Oscar （奥斯卡奖）、VH1 电视台天后演唱会（Divas Live）领衔主唱，以歌声掳获了千万歌迷的人心，同时，她除了连获葛莱美奖、百事达奖、VH1 时尚流行奖、全美音乐奖、告示牌音乐影带奖提名外，更连续两年蝉联乡村协会音乐奖及 TNN乡村奖年度女歌手的双重肯定，又证明国民天后的非凡实力。

 

        2000年10月4日，第34届美国乡村音乐协会奖（CMA）揭晓，Faith Hill荣获了"年度最佳女歌手奖"，而"年度最佳男歌手奖"则由她的丈夫Tim McGraw夺得。夫妻二人成为CMA颁奖以来，在同一年度夺得这两项大奖的第一对夫妇。同时，Faith Hill入选了美国《人物》（People）杂志"最美丽50人"，与凯瑟琳-泽塔-琼斯（Catherine Zeta Jones）、朱莉娅-罗伯茨（Julia Roberts）等世界级大明星共享荣誉。
