经典回顾系列二： 美国爵士乐队 Weather Report

Weather Report 是美国七，八十年代著名的爵士乐队。它的主要成员是奥地利出生的键盘手 Joe Zawinul 和美国的萨克斯风手Wayne Shorter（最初成立时是捷克的贝斯手Miroslav Vitouš）。Weather Report 在Shorter加入后，开始转向爵士-Funk-R&B 混合型音乐，更有其特色。

 

Weather Report was an American jazz band of the 1970s and early 1980s. The band was co-led by the Austrian-born keyboard player Joe Zawinul and the American saxophonist Wayne Shorter (and, initially, by Czech bass player Miroslav Vitouš). Other prominent members at various points in the band’s lifespan included Jaco Pastorius, Peter Erskine, Alphonso Johnson, Victor Bailey, Airto Moreira and Chester Thompson. In the conception of the band, the compositions are mostly pretexts for improvisations, with an essential role going to solo instrumentation.

谢谢喜欢，我会慢慢整理更多的作品。
我印象最深的一个Jazz club是在纽约NYU 附近，好像叫BLue 或者deep blue.

孤陋寡闻，没有欣赏过他们的作品。Jazz能记住的名字是Louis Armstrong 和Duke Elliginton, both from the Netflex documentary serials “Jazz” by Ken Burns.

曾经在New Orleans 住过一段时间，最喜欢的就是餐厅里的Jazz band, 喜欢他们的trumpet and saxophone, 非常的怀旧， 以至于有时候去纽约芝加哥，会有意打听这样的地方。现在喜欢看的jazz是Broadway show “Chicago”。
