A ladder was broken (view from the outside):

So I decided to fix it. Basically I needed to make two pieces of brass plates and then use rivets to fix these two pieces on the broken plastic parts on the ladder.
Some tools used (always use a face shield):
1. Make one piece of brass plate (for the inside piece).
Cut a piece of brass sheet:
Using a reciprocating saw:
Cut it to the black mark:
Cut the other side of the piece:
Polish the edges and sides:
Try to make a hole (missing a picture with a hole in the area with the red circle):
the dent in the red circle was done wuth a center punch and then the piece was drilled:
2. Make another piece (for the outside):
Drill holes:
Polish the edges and sides:
3. Use rivets and a rivet tool to fix the two brass plates on the ladder:
Grind the sharp piece off with a grind stone:
