与侪伴耍，只可做选择，不可以以教，教则不服。 

You can choose whom to get along with but， 

don’t give instructions, for no one gives a damn .

 

与年长者处，语尽可恭维，不可迕逆，违则不甜。 

Always say YES to elders, never say NO, they love you be sweet.

 

与晚辈交，言多须祈使，不可以命令，令则不闻。 

Could you please? 

Would you please? 

May I? 

Otherwise they pretend not listening.
