Mashallah（真主保佑你），Kasbah的孩子们 －－by LP

Kasbah, 是摩洛哥人用当地特有的赤土泥沙手工堆砌的房屋村落。在摩洛哥开车 , 一路无数次地惊叹于近在咫尺和远在山边的 Kasbah, 一而再再而三地我们会忍不住停下车来拍照。

有一处 Kasbah 窝在山间低洼处，外墙是与众不同的沉闷的灰黑色，一群大人围在路口村头，好象在对付一只散了架的骡车。我们的车停下不到一分钟，就有一群小孩蜂拥而来 , 他们每个人手里都拎了一小包装了 Nuts 的塑料袋，示意要我们买。老公于是给每个孩子的手里都放了他们卖 Nuts 应得的 Dirham 。 我让孩子们 Keep 他们的 Nuts 。孩子们马上就轻松了下来 , 争先恐后地告诉我他们的名字，指给我们看 Kasbah 里他们每个人自己的家，然后又凑到车窗口好奇地看哥哥妹妹赖在车里玩 DS 。

那天我们赶路要去的 Aït Benhaddou 是摩洛哥保留至今最经典最完整的 Kasbah, 也是联合国教科文组织在摩洛哥指定的又一个世界文化遗产。这个有“摩洛哥最美 Kasbah ”之称的南部古村落 , 有无数的好来坞电影曾经在那里取景。虽然暴风雨对 Kasbah 的侵害使得大多数的居民都已经搬离了 Aït Benhaddou ，但是还有大概十户左右人家还住在 Aït Benhaddou 里面，小 Hassan 家就是其中的一家。

进 Aït Benhaddou 那天大清早，进村口不久 , 我们遇到了 Hassan 的姑姑 , 她邀请我们去参观她的厨房，我们赞赏 Kasbah 里的厨房里有煤气罐也接了自来水 , Hassan 姑姑说平常这厨房是用来给旅游团预备些食品的。我们比手划脚地说话的时候， Hassan 一直在一边跳来跳去。走出他们家的院落 , Hassan 还一直围着我们家的哥哥妹妹转 , 他赤着脚踢拉着鞋底板 , 一路不断地索着鼻涕 , 不时地还把我家老公给他的 Dirham 从口袋里掏出来把玩。

三个孩子一起蹦蹦跳跳地走在前面，大多数时间是 Hassan 在前面领路，我家的两个自然是兴奋地自顾自往前冲，哪里管他们走得太快了我跟不上，倒是小 Hassan 会回过头来笑眯眯地等我。我给孩子们拍照 , 也给 Hassan 拍。拍好了照片 , 我把 Hassan 叫过来给他看，我的手抚摸着 Hassan 的头， Hassan 毛绒绒的头发卷卷的有些扎手。看到他自己在我相机里的样子 , Hassan 很开心。

Aït Benhaddou 是一座沙垒的迷宫， Hassan 给我们带路绕来绕去 , 居然又绕到了他家的楼上几层。我故作惊讶大声欢呼地指给 Hassan 看我认出了他家的羊圈 , Hassan 咧着嘴笑得很得意。哥哥背着大人刚刚淘汰的录相机一路也很起劲地在录相，爬到 Aït Benhaddou 的高处 , 远的沙近的沙全部收进眼底的时候 , 哥哥趁着喘气歇息倒带给 Hassan 看刚刚录进去的影像。三个孩子的头很自然地凑在一起 , 好像已经蛮熟络了。有一次正好妹妹和 Hassan 并肩走着我按了快门 , 妹妹居然也没有抗议 , 换平常叫她和小男生合影 , 妹妹总会玩酷地表示不满 : “ Fine, that doesn ’ t mean he is my boy friend 。”

下山的路走得快，下了山坡不久 Hassan 就到家了 , 我跟在后面看到孩子们在挥手告别 , 赶紧快跑几步赶上去 , Hassan 已经拐进他家的小木门后面看不见了。 我楞在那里后悔自己走慢了 , 没来得及跟小 Hassan 告别 , 或许还能抱一抱他 , 或许还可以在他手里多塞一些 Dirham, 他可以去买一双保暖一点的鞋子买几本喜欢的书 , 或许我还应该把背包里的从 Costco 买的 Biscotti, Milano cookie ，还有 Madeleines 都留一点给他，我们家孩子喜欢吃的 Hassan 也一定会喜欢的。 Hassan 一走，哥哥马上气急败坏地冲过来拿我背包里的大瓶矿泉水，一口气喝下了大半瓶。我奇怪他刚刚为啥不喝，哥哥很为难地说：“我，不想当了 Hassan 的面喝，怕他没有喝，会苦恼的。”

拉着孩子们的手踏着水中的卵石，穿过了环绕着古村落像护城河一样潺流的小溪。站在小溪的这一边，再依依不舍地回过头来仰望小溪那边的 Aït Benhaddou . 太阳升起来了， Kasbah 里飘出了缕缕的炊烟， Aït Benhaddou 犹如沙滩上雕栏玉砌的城堡，在霞光里宁静安祥熠熠生辉。

沐浴在晨曦里，被飘浮着尘土和沙粒的晨风包裹着，恍若隔世的我，眼眶和脑子一起热了起来 , 回过头来对老公说： What if 我把 Hassan 带回家 ?

老公拍拍我的背说：“你怎么知道他不快乐呢？”

Brintain & Iceland!! great! I should just follow your footsteps & skip the homework.. my daughter loves everything about Great Britain-Beatles, TV series"Extra" "Office" "A little Fry & Laurie". "MI-5"... I heard Iceland is a travel bargain now , hot springs, geysers, whales, glaciers...

Yunan is a gorgeous place. I will definitely go there again! I regret I didn't buy more needle-work-blue dyed table cloths... and I would never forget the 80's old lady who did the beautiful table cloth. it took her 3 days to finish one, and only cost 80RMB ( didn't haggle over the price, b/c it's inhuman).

you are lucky that you got lovely LP & kids with very kind hearts.
I love her photos,too!

Frech I only speak Bonjour and Arabia only Mashalla--you should remember this one, That's enough:)

I enjoy driving; felt like kissing the ground. For me, I actually appreciate my wife and kids gave me such a chance. After all they took certain degree (no matter how small it is) of risk with me.

Next is Britain and Iceland in spring and Yunnan in summer.

Wheel never stops rolling :)

that's why we got a private & pricing tour guide through Saharatreck.com. I guess your wife is lucky to have a hudband who can drive!!! I prefer travel our own pace.. but ,hey, Morocco is not Spain.. none of us can speak French or Arabia.. Now , I am jealous your freedom in Morocco!!!!
tang07059 2010-01-25 20:01:28 回复 悄悄话 we didn't go Essaouira. It is a town for relax. If you have one day only, you may end up with spending all the time on the road.

I recommend Ait Benhaddou. Essaouira is not a must.

anyway, I love your wife's great photos,too.
