谈 色 – 色变余波 01 】
When watching a movie, people do forget their ‘self’ for a while, a hour or so? May be little longer; however, some people don’t, they stay who they are; thus divides viewers into two: Then, we should ask what kinds of viewers are we? Especialy when a movie comes into argument. Let's ask what is the best way of enjoying a movie, a novel, or a piece of painting, whatsoever. "just a movie" They returned to their real role in society. It’s not easy to forget who we are in real life.
Quite often, when an art work put into the world, people start to comment. Just like a beautiful women crossing the market, some people never leave his eyes from her, from head to toe.
There are basically two kinds of movie-goers, first, they watch, and get emotionally involved, as if they 'were' or little by little they 'feel' they were becoming one of the roles in the movie, they totally forgot themselves, lost in watching, who they are the moment they sit into the seats, when the film goes on, a momentlater. when the lights are on, when they return to the real life, they say: its "so so," "not too bad' even, the opposite: "this is just disgusting" people hide their emotions some times. Do you? or Do we? However, they really did when watch. Among them more women.
Second, they keep their head 'cool' they never lost their real role in their real life. if they are 'social scholar' or 'politician' of sorts. When come to the questions how do you think about the movie? they mostly lie, giving reasons of various kinds but basically from they own 'Logic" whether 'historic' or 'political'
Very few people, for example ladies felt very hard to say, or brave enough to say that: I, too, would like to be that lady; to experience 'such' life.... or I, too, it would be great if I was that man. and this make the watching and enjoyment of this kind of movie difficult, especially this one for Mandarin people, or some one close to the culture.
An lee's movie this time, actually from the "Broke back mountain" 2006 put quite number of audience into a position of hiding their 'real' feelings in watching the movie, and commenting the movie as well, when came out of their seats.
When people get older, they watch with "cool-head", but do they hide their inner emotion as well? it's hard to know. 'Stay Cool' or Not, might divide people as movie-goers into two; what is more: when giving comments as well. Should we forget yourself; forget who you are in the society, I guess it is the real door lead to better enjoyment of watching a movie.
When movie of such kind, showing the conflicts in culture, describing the 'Gray-area" of human life: love between "enemies" or something else: sex ? "actions" in bed? then they forgot the fact that "love" and "sex" are the mortal motifs for human literature.

Thanks for the commentary, i did not answer your coment immiedately, is because in my mind, the argument is not ended yet. Maybe will stay in people's attention for a while. And maybe an movie, or any artistic work alike arrises some argument is alwasy better than none as i thought. One thing, is certain, An lee this time, like he saidhimself is trying to do something new, a good test,...but is it really good timing to do it? He himself, was not sure at the time mkaing this film, ....or anyway it offered a good opertunities for the real moive lover to think of something. Am i acceptable?

For this movie, I probably is the "stay cool" type person when I watch a movie... Emotionally, I could be easily get involved with all the feelings( sad or happy, calm or angry) by the story in the movie, but I know it's just a movie, not in real life. For An Lee's movie, I like the "BrokeBack Mountain" better.....
