战时被拘押的台湾侨民从澳洲遣返(4)

澳大利亚国家档案馆中有关台湾侨民和战俘遣返的档案资料 

前面提供的照片所反映的是二次世界大战后，那些战时关押在澳洲的台湾侨民最终被遣返回乡的情景。实际上，这些被遣返的台湾人，包括二部分人：一是作为平民的侨民，他们战时被作为敌国的侨民而被关押在澳洲不同地方的集中营里；二是那些参加日军在巴布亚新几内亚与盟军作战的台湾义勇队军人，他们在战后作为战俘被关押在澳洲和巴布亚新几内亚等地。战后，因台湾回归中国，这些侨民和战俘经中国政府与盟国商量，由海外的中国领事机构安排，陆续遣返回台湾。

所有这些，实际上都可以在澳大利亚国家档案馆里找到相应的档案资料。这些档案资料实际上上也分为二部分，即涉及关押在澳洲的台湾侨民（当时是将其与韩国人一道归入日本侨民里边的）及作为战俘的台湾军人。
