a few words about meimei

Meimei is still teething. She only has 7 teeth (I thought she had 8 but I was wrong). She does not wake up in the middle of the night as much now.

Meimei does not like to be put down to sleep in her crib. Every time I take her to her room, she screams, even before we enter the room. She sits up right as soon as she wakes up, or even before she wakes up. Then she cries and pulls herself to stand up. Yesterday I got so frustrated with her that I tried to pin her down in her crib. She cried so hard that she started to sob. After she finally fall asleep, she was still sobbing. I felt very bad.

Meimei likes carrots. She uses a baby carrot as a teether.

Meimei has established herself as a distinct member of our family by always getting involved in other people's things. She is so nosy, and so bossy. She wants to know what everyone is doing all the time, and insist on participation.

Meimei loves attention. If she hears a sound of someone coming, she would prepare her smile, then turn her head toward the person, and wait for them to respond. Usually she succeeds with her bright smile. If the person does not notice her, she would turn her smile toward another person in the room, until she finds someone.
