Free Microsoft Office 

I have been using Microsoft Office for writting and calculating for many years. After I left the university, I used Microsoft 365, which is free. This week I was informed that M365 will be disabled on 25th March 2023, unless I pay for the software, about £2.50 per month.  

I asked my son for help. He suggested that I could use Google DOCS and SHEET. I tried them and they are good. Google DOCS and SHEET are free. I then told my husband that I have found a new free software for writing and calculation. He told me that if I had my university account, I should be able to access to Microsoft 365 free. 

Most people stop using the university accounts after left their work. Their university accounts would end in three months after they stop using them. However, the account could be recovered. I access my account once a week since I left the university. I know a person still have his university account, and he is 99 years old !  

I then login my university account and search the Microsoft 365. I found it ! I have free access to Microsoft 365, a free university space for my files, and a free web space for my website, if I want. I am so happy. The internet space is not much but enough for me, more than enough, because I am a simple person.
