courses of this semester

Mostly, this method is used to analyze issues or topics in IPE, or public policy, political economy. Taking Dr.Kenney's course, I am considering to find a topic and adopt and quantatitive method as simultaneous equation to solve it...need extensive reading.. In terms of qualitative method, it's still struggling. Some ideas poped up to my mind are still on the field of IPE or political economy. May I find sth interesting in the security or conflict-solving? It seems that now i know much theory on IR, but more empirical cases in CPE/IPE. For history course, i have to make it focused on security issues. Taiwan or Vientam....weighing.
