第三天，警察逮捕了邻居一个16岁的高中生，警察没有透露名字，但据悉是从纽约搬来的，家里四个孩子，一个哥哥和两个妹妹。父亲是一个建筑工人，成天起早贪黑干活，没时间管理和教育自己的孩子，母亲看起来人还可以。据他揭露，还有另外一个19岁的罪犯，仍然在逃。
一个星期后，警察逮捕了第二名罪犯，从名字看，是一个南美裔。

They spray painted garages, sidewalks, and cars with anti semitic and racist language on Primrose Lane. They also slashed several tires in the neighborhood.
Homeowners suspect young people were responsible.
"I don't think it's just boredom, I think it's stupidity and I want to know where the parents are in all of this."
"I think it's disgusting and I think they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law."
"It's not just an expense and inconvenience -- it's ugly and hate is ugly."
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating the vandalism.

| WELLINGTON -- Ming Chen should have been at work Monday morning, doing water quality research in the Everglades. Instead he was trying in vain to pressure wash the blue words "Jew Haters" off his driveway and explain the hateful act to his eight-year-old daughter. "She got scared this morning. She said, 'What's the meaning of that?'." he said. "I told her it's not a safe world." Chen, a Chinese immigrant who's lived in his Wellington home for five years, is one of six victims in the Sugar Pond Manor neighborhood whose homes or cars were slammed with spray painted racial epithets and swastikas late Sunday or early Monday morning, Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies said. Someone had spray painted blue swastikas on the street and on Chen's yellow recycling bin. On his front door and garage door were more swastikas. His Toyota Corolla had all four tires slashed and blue spray paint on the license plate. Chen discovered the vandalism Monday morning when his neighbor knocked on his door. Next door, his neighbors awoke to their garage door and fence marred with blue swastikas and another racial epithet. Across the street, another neighbor found swastikas all over his white SUV and garage door. Around the corner, another SUV was covered with swastikas and a vulgar expression. Most of the neighbors said the worst vandalism they've had over the years are smashed mailboxes and egged cars. Nothing like this. "I don't think there's anybody on this street who has anything against anybody of any color," said Lil EurichÖ, whose garage door and son's SUV were vandalized with backward swastikas. Sheriff's Deputy Dennis Dempsey said no other homes in Wellington were vandalized Sunday night. He said investigators will compare the images and words to prior reports and gang tags to see if there's any resemblance. He said a W-shaped symbol found on one of the homes appears to be a tag. "The belief is that it's kids," he said. "We don't know anything at this time." Lt. Jay Hart said deputies couldn't even remember when the last racial vandalism appeared in Wellington. "It's so rare we don't even have an account of the last time it actually happened," he said. "It's been long enough to where we'd have to go back in our files to find it." Jerry Nicholas, the criminal planner at the Wellington Sheriff's Office substation, said this kind of vandalism goes beyond the smashed mailboxes the department routinely sees in the village. Other vandalism at the homes in the Sugar Pond Manor neighborhood was more sinister: epithets about Jews and blacks scrawled in blue letters, along with numerous swastikas. Ming Chen, 40, said swastikas were spray painted on his front door and garage door, as well as his Toyota Corolla. The vandals also painted "Jew Hater" on his driveway and slashed the Corolla's tires. Chen said his daughters, ages 7 and 8, were scared when they saw the damage. "They said, 'Is this a safe country?' " said Chen, who emigrated from China more than 10 years ago. "I said, 'This is a part of life.' It's shameful." Alberto Acosta, 55, said the vandals spray painted his beige Lexus. "It was a big mess," Acosta said. "I don't think it's anything racial. It's just kids with nothing else to do. This is a really good neighborhood." The occupants of the vandalized homes were neither Jewish nor black, investigators said. The homes appeared to have been chosen at random. The incidents spurred deputies to increase their patrols of the neighborhood, said sheriff's office spokeswoman Teri Barbera. "Whoever did this went crazy out there," she said. Nov. 28 — Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested a Royal Palm Beach High School junior on charges of criminal mischief Tuesday afternoon for spray-painting racist graffiti early Monday morning on and around two Primrose Lane residences in Wellington, and slashing the tires of the residents’ vehicles. According to a PBSO report, the 16-year-old suspect confessed to the crimes after being tracked down by a detective. The suspect said that in the pre-dawn hours Monday, he and a friend used a can of blue spray paint to draw swastikas on the doors, driveways, vehicles, garbage cans and fences around the residences, as well as slashing the tires on two vehicles. The suspect reportedly told the detective he had only known his accomplice a month and knew nothing of his whereabouts.

A 16-year-old was arrested last week.

Diaz is expected to be charged with multiple counts of criminal mischief and is being held without bond at the Palm Beach County Jail.

gone before a judge. 19-year old Angel Diaz is charged with criminal
mischief for allegedly spraypainting swastikas and other racial
graffiti on eight homes along Primrose lane last week. A 16-year old
has also been charged. Neither suspect will face a hate crime charge
because Sheriff's investigators say the victims were all picked at
random.
