Went jogging for 6 miles this morning.

It took me 50min so my "pace" would be around 8.4. It felt so high that I sang "Halellujah."

My goal is to lose the last 10lbs, after 40lbs over the past year,
and get that number down to 7.4, AhTang's Vancouver Marathon pace.

Go, my fellow humans!

Your diet is a lot like mine. I also pay attention to eat whole foods instead of processed stuff.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing. I stopped counting calories these days.
BTW, I have developed a taste for a plant-based diet and become almost a vegetarian and loved it.

The last month, I've lost another 3 lbs thanks to running.

I feel sorry for you for your knee and hope that's only transient.

60后那一代 回复 悄悄话 I happened to be on my track to losing my last 10 Ibs after losing 25 Ibs over the years. It's been consistent generally. I used to hike a lot, almost every other day, however, lately I felt discomfort in my knees and reduced to no more than twice a week. I attribute my weight loss to my diet more than exercise. I eat more than 1200 Cals each day. Very little animal products except for some seafood and eggs during the week. Other than hiking, I alternate hot yoga with hiking to keep my spine healthy.
