"Those 1,000 women override his wisdom!!! Like father, like son!!!" Unfair to women: Why couldn't he say those women made him wise? He extrapolated wisdom from those 1,000 women worldwide.

Not at all. the women did not override David's wisdom. He committed adultery with Bathsheba and murdered Uriah for her.  Nothing about his wives overriding his wisdom, lol. C'mon guys.

That’s why we have to stop looking at ppl (people) of God as “gods.” Solomon was still human in the flesh; God/Jesus always used regular ppl with flaws to do His will.

 

Where in the Bible does it say Solomon wrote Ecclesiastes in his old age and that it represented his repentance? In fact, God told Solomon he would take the kingdom from his son. He did. There is no mention of Solomon repenting. Jeroboam was given ten tribes by God. Solomon tried to kill him, so he stayed in Egypt until the death of Solomon (1 Kings 11). Nowhere in Scripture are we told that Solomon repented. Never add to Scripture.

One detail you left out: After Bathsheba became prägnant, David gave Uriah some R and R to spend some time with his missus, but he did not have any sex with her out of compassion for his comrades still in battle.

After having watched some of this video, it seems to me that Solomon nearly put himself above the Lord, by glorifying himself with such a grand palace and thinking that he knew it all. He should have been much more humble, but alas, he was not. Lessons should be taken from this story.
