'aha moment' kindled his own investigative career

That senior scientist said:

 

""A path out of the headache and heartache becomes clearer when one considers the three 'Rs' that comprise high-quality scientific research — rigour, reproducibility and robustness. These remind us of the reason why we became scientists in the first place."" Really?

 

3 Rs - — rigour, reproducibility and robustness, which from his 'aha moment' that kindled his own investigative career. So, so what?

 

"Over the years, the golf industry has made untold sums of money from many golfers (myself included), who aspire to reproduce Tiger Woods' results. However, only a small percentage of us can pull this off (and I am not one of them). Does this mean that Tiger Woods' results were 'wrong', or that the remarkable physics he seemingly exemplified does not truly stand up to independent scrutiny? Of course not; it means that reproducing such results consistently requires a level of mastery that the typical golfer does not possess."

 

My point? reproducibility is a bogus! As you're dealing with a lot of unknowns.  No others like Tiger Woods. It's his uniqueness.  Why is that?

 

HELLO! Wake-up ! his uniqueness - only one Tiger Woods! No other Tiger Woods.

 

It's nature. stupid. Nature is unknown, too much of it. Don't ever try to reproduce the great experiments in your own hand.

 

Hey, when you can't reproduce a result, not your fault, it's its uniqueness.

 

Bravo! You know what to do now?  If you don't, it's okay, as it's your uniqueness - that's my 'aha moment' of the day!
