原文：We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain, unalienable rights, that among these are life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, that to secure these rights, governments are institituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.

科技英语：It is obvious to us that all human beings are essentially the same and share a number of basic rights, such as life, personal freedom, and the pursuing of one's own personal goals. The function of just governments, therefore, is to ensure these rights for citizens who recognize their proper domains of control.

英语口语：Isn't it clear that all of us are the same and should have the same rights? You know, like life, liberty, and happiness, stuff like that. And the governments' job is to make sure these things work out for all folks, otherwise, they should be kicked out.
