威廉和凯特到洛杉矶（多图）

不久前才在电视上看到威廉和凯特的豪华的皇家婚礼（看俺的有关评论http://blog.wenxuecity.com/blogview.php?date=201104&postID=30614），今天下午，这对英国未来的国王夫妇在结束了成功的加拿大之行后，乘坐加拿大空军的专机，来到洛杉矶国际机场。在上世纪八十年代，威廉在母亲戴安娜的带领下来过洛杉矶，如果戴安娜还活着的话，今年会是她的五十大寿。这是凯特第一次访问美国，她现在的正式皇家称呼为：Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge。凯特的美丽让大家赞口不绝。。。

其实，威廉和凯特在访美时可有很多地方可以选择，大家猜测他们选洛杉矶作为首访的选择地是和电影分不开的，一部英国皇家故事的电影《国王的演讲》荣获了今年的奥斯卡奖（看俺的影评http://blog.wenxuecity.com/blogview.php?date=201103&postID=4665），有关英国题材的其他电影进几年来在好莱坞也非常走红，如《傲慢与偏见》，《简爱》（看俺的影评http://blog.wenxuecity.com/blogview.php?date=201104&postID=1974），等等。。。

威廉和凯特在南加州逗留三天，行程表非常紧凑，重点为：在欢迎会上，威廉和凯特还有做生意的任务，那就是推销英国的高科技产品，让美国人投资英国的“硅谷”；周六，他们将到圣塔巴巴拉打Polo（马球）；他们还和影星们有一个聚会，影星中有Tom Hanks, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez，和Barbra Streisand。

Friday, July 8

3:40 p.m. PT: The royal couple arrives at Los Angeles International Airport
4:30 p.m. PT: They arrive at the Beverly Hilton for a reception
7:00 p.m. PT: They attend an event at the British Consul General's home in Hancock Park

Saturday, July 9

Noon - 5 p.m. PT: Prince William plays in a polo match in Santa Barbara
6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. PT: They arrive at Belasco Theatre in downtown Los Angeles for BAFTA event

Sunday, July 10

11:30 a.m. PT: Royal couple arrives in Skid Row to meet with kids at Inner City Arts
1:15 p.m. PT: They arrive at the Service Nation event at Sony Studios in Culver City
3:30 p.m. PT: They're expected to arrive at LAX for departure
