It was Wednesday, 3rd of October, 2012. George was taken to hospital by Ambulance. My heart was crying. Sitting with the crew, touching George's hair. What happened 5 mins ago was still a shock. George woke up shivering. 'Mummy, I am a bit wobbly.' Said George. Quickly I grabbed the thermometer from downstairs, rang the GP with the display 39.7C. I was told there was no doctor could come to see George, and there was no options apart from the 999.' Please can some one come as my little boy is having 39.7C temperature? .....'' Mam, can you please identify police or ambulance?'' Sorry?' I was completely worried and confused. The lady on the other end of the phone realised I was paniced and said to me ' I will transfer you to Ambulance OK?''Thank you.' I realised what's going on.After talking to a man, he said 'now please open the door', The crew was standing outside. I was totally amazed. It was about 2 minutes at most. The paramedic called Jack checked George, who was on the edge of passing out, showed me the temperature 41C. I started shaking. With a few questions and calls, he suggested that I shouldn't' bring George in my own car in case of incident, therefore, another larger Ambulance arrived in 10 minutes. Charles was back, George was half conscious. It was very hard to wake him up. In the end Charles picked him up, cuddled George into the Ambulance. I hopped in, fasten seatbelt. Off we went.
