The Real Difference Between Heaven And Hell





A man asked the God,What is heaven and hell?

The God said to the man,Come,I\'ll show you hell.They entered a room

where a group of people sat around a huge pot of cooked stew.Everyone in the

room was starving and desperate.Each person held a spoon that reached the

pot,but each spoon had a handle so much longer than their own arms that it

could not be used to get the stew into their own mouths.The suffering was

terrible.

Come,now I will show you heaven,then the God said.They entered another

room,identical to the first--the big pot of stew,the group of people and the

same long-handled spoons.But here everyone was happy and well-nourished.

I don\'t understand,said the man.Why is everyone happy here and

miserable in the other room?Everything is the same.

The God said to the man,Haven\'t you seen the reason?The people in the

hell always want to feed themselves with their long spoons,but the people in

the heaven feed the other people with their long spoons.

The place with love is heaven.Love may create the wonder,and may make

people become satisfied and optimistic.

有人问上帝：“什么是天堂和地狱？”

上帝对这个人说：“来吧，我带你去看地狱。”他们来到一个房间，只见许多人正围着一

口煮食的大锅坐着，他么又饿又绝望。每个人都拿着一把勺子在舀锅中的食物，可是勺柄比

他们的胳膊长得多，没有人能成功地吃到食物，真是苦不堪言。

“来吧，我现在带你去看天堂，”上帝接着又说。他们进入同第一个房间完全相同的另

一个房间，这里也有一口大锅，人们的勺柄也很长。可是这里的人们都吃得饱饱的，神色快

乐而满足。

“我不明白，”这个人说。“为什么同样的房间同样的食物，这个房间的人快乐无比，

而那个房间的人却愁眉不展？”

上帝说：“难道你没有看出原因吗？地狱里的人们总想用自己的勺子喂自己，而天堂里

的人们却用自己的勺子喂别人。”

有爱的地方就是天堂。爱可以创造奇迹，可以让人变得满足和乐观。
