我的镜子不能让我承认年迈，
只要青春和你同属一个时代；
但当我在你身上看见时间的皱纹，
就看到我在世日子赎卖后的死神。
因为那包裹着你的一切美貌，
都只是我心之外的合适衣袍，
我的心在你胸中存活，你的心在我体内跃跳：
我怎么能够就比你更加苍老？
因此噢，我亲爱的，你要好好珍惜自己，
正如我，不为自己，为你我也自珍才好！
怀揣着你的心，我呵护它小心翼翼，
象母亲看护她的婴孩不受疾病袭扰。
当我的心被戮杀，若你的心仍平安；
你的心已给了我，我不能原物奉还。

So long as youth and thou are of one date;
But when in thee time's furrows I behold, 
Then look I death my days should expiate.
