Finally I Reached the Summit

另一篇考古所得，也是零四年写的，有点萌。

Finally I reached the summit,
when darkness just fell.

I felt first time in my life,
the moon was so close,
right in front of my eyes,
touching me softly,
with her silky light.

But I didn't look at her any more,
for she was so bold
and I was a little shy.

There down the hills,
came the ocean of city lights.
To the end of the sky,
there lied the horizon
with the last flame of red.

That encouraged me to throw a roar,
like the conqueror of the world.
But the gust blew my voice,
out of my trembling sight.

So I just lied down
and closed my eyes,
listening to the echoes,
from the world's other side.
