附记：
这是我在中学时候偷偷学唱的黄色歌曲之一。是一位同学从一本文革前出版的《外国名歌一百零一首》里手抄以后在我们班级里传颂开来的。我们的一位语文老师有一次终于发现了我们这帮男生在传抄这首和其他一些黄色歌曲（靡靡之音）。我记得最后她还是把我们的手抄本给缴去了—-当然啦，我们还是留有副本的。
来北美以后，每次听到这首歌曲，便会回忆起当年的情景。嘴上唱着的是北美洲的红河谷，心里思念着的却是上海的黄浦江。。。
我至今没有搞懂为什么我们把这首歌当作加拿大民歌。可是这红河谷不是在美国么？不是最近刚闹水灾么？？
