Some hope for a job And a college degree,
All I hope for Is just you and me.

Some hope for money
And "the good things in life,"
All I hope for Is you to be my wife.

Some hope for popularity
And many friends,
All I hope for Is 'us,' until the end.

Some hope for life
And others for truth,
My only goal in life ...
Is to have you.

Because if I have you,
I shall be completely alive,
And if I have you,
I'll have no more lies.

Because if I have you,
I'll be the richest man,
I will be the happiest
That anyone can.

Because if I have you,
You will be my best friend,
You will be my wife,
And we'll be happy until the end.

My goal is you,
And that will never change,
I love you more than life,
My life, you've rearranged.

I only hope for you,
And nothing more,
Because what you are
Is everything I hope for.
