Juls, seeing the man who she madly in love married her best friend, felt empty & lost at the wedding, sitting at the table alone…when her cell phone started to ring…from George, who came to the wedding too, sitting & watching her from afar secretly,  trying to comfort her…

J: Hi George,

G: Hi gorgeous, haven’t you had a good time?

J: Not particularly, but I did what I came to do.

G: What, you split them up?

J: No, I said goodbye.

G: Good gal, proud of you. ‘d be proud still if you’re dancing.

J: Oh, I have big plans for dancing. Just give me 30, 35 years

G: Oh, misery mixed exquisite tragedy... I can just picture you sitting there in your own table in your lavender gown.

J: Did I tell you my gown is lavender?

G: Hair swept up, haven’t touched your cake…drumming your finger nails on the white linen table cloths, what you do when you reallyfeeling down…may even looking at your nails thinking…God, I should stop the evil plotting to have that manicure…It’s too late now.

J: George, I didn’t tell you my gown waslavender.

G: Suddenly, a familiar song…then you’reoff your chair—one exquisite movement…wondering…searching… sniffing the wind like a dappled deer, has God heard your little prayer? Will Cinderella danceagain? And then, suddenly, the crowds apart, and there he is, slick, stylish, r..radiant with charisma… he is on the telephone, but then so are you. And he comes towards you—a move of a jungle cat, and although you quite correctly sensed that he is gay, like most devastatingly handsome single man of his age are, you think what the hell, life goes on…may be there won’t be marriage, maybe there won’t be sex, but BY GOD, there will be dancing…

Always impressed by the lines from "my best friend's wedding" that reminds the fact that life could never be ideal, but "there will be dancing" conquers it all.
