老印小印爬过老中小中的一大原因不是歧视而是课外教育

老印的教育机会和社会地位是相匹配的。所以跑到美国来的也都是些真精英，知道怎么玩上层管下层。这些经验是上不了课本的。小中学习绝对不低于小印，但是缺少画龙点睛的家传身教。老中是中国历史上比较奇葩的一代，往前往后，教育机会和社会地位也是比较匹配的，或者是不公平的。但是老中这一代还是比较公平的。所以老中有了所谓个人奋斗成功，努力学习就能人上人的酸傲。其实上不着天，下不着地。而且把这种无知无畏也耽误到了下一代。小中还得自己摸索，当然就差好几步。小中小留都会好一些，但是想赶超小印恐怕还得一代。三代穿衣，五代吃饭。难着呢。

Agreed! It's those very soft, subtle touch or skills (communications, gestures, ways of treating things and people, etc.) that help a person thrive in a structured organization in the long run. This doesn't indicate that the first or second generation of Chinese aren't good at these areas, but that they're not so good in the Western culture. The first generation's too much emphasis on Chinese culture, attending Chinese schools, Chinese ways of thinking and doing things is drawing back their children from being more successful in the US I think. Again, I am not proposing against Chinese heritage or identity at all.
