Know Thyself

I wish I knew then what I know now … about myself.

 

知己知彼百战不怠。And it should really be made public knowledge that the first part – know thyself – is the harder of the two tasks.

 

至少敌人是在山外，没有乌云碍眼的时候总可以窥得一二。

 

而自己永远是 biased。并且 emotional。并且千变万化。刚刚觉得对自己了解得多了一点 BAM 一切都变了还要从头想起。

 

天性没办法违背。不喜欢自己的地方也要承认。如果假装的话到头来辛苦的还是自己。

 

所以不如 accept the imperfection and make peace with it。

 

And here’s the kicker – how come I didn’t get a user’s manual of myself when I was born?
