美国百姓解读中国出口经济贸易

    美国主流财经新闻媒体【彭博社（Bloomberg）】有一篇很有意思的报道：

    “China Floods the World With Cheap Exports After Trump’s Tariffs”

    （川普加征关税后，中国廉价出口涌向全球，https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/china-floods-world-cheap-exports-064330955.html）

    大意是，在川普实施高压关税的五个月以来，中国的出口趋势非但没有受阻，而是开启美国除外的多方渠道，出口贸易更是势不可挡，使中国贸易顺差达到创纪录的 1.2 万亿美元（$1.2 trillion trade surplus）。对此，美国百姓怎么看呢？

    百姓一：所以，川普的关税战除了严重损害美国消费者、美国农民等等之外，毫无成效。川普试图损害的那些国家之间，彼此的贸易往来却更加频繁。川普一直在努力让中国再次伟大。（So, Trump's tariff wars didn't work except hurting American consumers, American farmers, etc. badly. Those countries Trump tried to hurt are doing much more business with each other. Trump has been Making China Great Again.）

    百姓二： 多亏了川普，外国（中国、印度）的硅谷正在蓬勃发展，发展速度飞快，并把最优秀的人才留在了国内，还给他们提供了优厚的薪酬。如今，在美国科技公司工作的博士中，超过50%的人持有H1B签证。想想川普为了阻止这种情况而采取的措施是多么愚蠢。现在的博士数量根本无法满足需求，所以任何想找工作的美国博士都能找到工作，所以不要相信他或利特尼克的说辞。关于“科技领域需要为美国人腾出空间”的纯粹谎言。简直荒谬。

    正如中国因为川普的管理不善找到了新的商品出口一样，同样的情况也发生在我们未来增长的关键技术上，例如芯片和人工智能。

    在川普的领导下，美国将失去其技术主导地位（现在几乎已经实现），甚至可能在他下台之前就落后于印度。他现在把我们最好的芯片卖给了中国——所以我们落后多少还不得而知。是落后一点点，还是落后一大截。

    川普为了个人政治利益而对美国企业造成的打击，需要几十年甚至更久才能恢复。这正是美国人投票的结果。

    等到这届灾难性的政府不再让美国经济崩溃之后，下一届政府就能真正地利用“让美国再次伟大”的口号了。

（Thanks to Trump, Silicon Valleys in foreign countries (China, India) are sprouting up, gaining speed, and keeping their most talented people home and paying them exceptionally well. Over 50% of PhDs working in US technology companies today are on H1B visas. Think how idiotic Trump's moves have been to help deter that. There are not enough PhDs now to meet the demand, so any American PhD who wants a job can get one, so do not believe his jawboning or Litnick's. Pure lies about the need to "make room for Americans in technology". Ridiculous.

Just as China has found new outlets for goods because of Trump's mismanagement, the same is happening with our most critical technologies for future growth, such as chips and AI.

Under Trump's leadership, the USA will lose its technological dominance (it is almost there now) and may even fall behind India before he is done. He is selling our best chips to China now - so all bets are off as to how far we fall behind. A little or a massive amount.

The hit Trump is taking against America's businesses now for his personal political gain will take decades—if ever - to recover from. This is what Americans voted for.

The next administration will be able to co-opt the Make America Great Again slogan for real after this disastrous administration is done caving in the US economy.）

    百姓三： 我宁愿购买所谓的廉价出口产品，也不愿购买美国的昂贵产品，而且顺便说一句，与中国相比，美国的建筑质量更差。

（I prefer to obtain the so-called inexpensive exports rather than the costly products from the United States, and incidentally, they are of lesser quality in construction when compared to China.）
