我最喜欢的圣诞歌曲

每年一过感恩节，就进入了节日时期， 家家开始悬挂圣诞灯，广播里也开始播放圣诞歌曲。二十多年，听到的总是那几首耳熟的歌；其中一些歌听到和学唱得更早：如在大学学英文时，《铃儿响叮当》就是人人爱唱的英文歌曲。

在这些圣诞歌里，我最喜欢的是由约翰。蓝侬（John Lennon）和她妻子Yoko 合写合唱的《Happy Xmas（War Is Over）》。这只歌写于1971年，圣诞节在美国发行，72年在英国和世界发行。此时美国政府在国内国际压力下，正在准备结束历时多年的越南战争。


蓝侬是积极的反战活动份子，在这首歌里，他把圣诞节和战争联系起来。在节日中，盼望战争早日结束，人们都能忘掉战争的恐惧，过上和平开心的生活。在纽约街头，他和Yoko为这支歌做的广告就是“War is over if you want it”。


85年冬天，第一次在美国过圣诞节，也是第一次听到这支歌。不像其它圣诞歌曲那样欢快轻松，它有点凄苦，也有些期待。特别是孩子们的伴唱，让人想到战火中和贫困中的孩子，像是他们在祈求，在呼喊，在期待。也正是因为这种基调，我立刻就喜欢上了这支歌。以后的每一个圣诞节，我总是一遍一遍地听，一次一次地唱。
