《唐诗100首》

    唐诗泛指创作于唐代（618年—907年）的诗，也可以引申指以唐朝风格创作的诗。唐代被视为中国历来诗歌水平最高的黄金时期，因此有唐诗之说，与宋词并举。

    唐代以后，唐诗的选本不断涌现，现今流传最广的是蘅塘退士编选的《唐诗三百首》。

    唐诗泛指创作于唐代的诗。唐诗是汉民族最珍贵的文化遗产，是汉文化宝库中的一颗明珠，同时也对周边民族和国家的文化发展产生了很大影响。唐代被视为中国各朝代旧诗最丰富的朝代，因此有唐诗、宋词之说。大部分唐诗都收录在《全唐诗》中，自唐朝开始，有关唐诗的选本不断涌现，而流传最广的当属蘅塘退士编选的《唐诗三百首》。清朝康熙年间的《全唐诗》则整理收录了二千二百多名诗人超过五万首唐诗。

    按照时间，唐诗的创作分四个阶段初唐、盛唐、中唐、晚唐。

green moss every now and then.

 

 

2. 竹里馆

 

王维

 

独坐幽篁里，

弹琴复长啸。

深林人不知，

明月来相照。

 

Retreating Among
Bamboos

 

Wang Wei

 

Lonely sit in the bamboo grove,

Play flute and hum songs.

Deep in forest no one knows,

The bright moon comes to shine
over me.

 

 

3. 送别

 

王维

 

山中相送罢，

日暮掩柴扉。

春草明年绿，

王孙归不归？

 

Parting

 

Wang Wei

 

Watch my friend going down the
mount,

Close the thatched door at
dusk.

Spring grasses return green
next year,

My Prince friend returns or
not?

 

 

4. 相思

 

王维

 

红豆生南国，

春来发几枝。

愿君多采撷，

此物最相思。

Love peas are planted in
southern-land,

A few sprays are shooting in
spring.

Hope you pick more,

They are best symbols of love.

裴迪

须尽丘壑美。

莫学武陵人，

暂游桃源里。

 

A Farewell To Cui
Jiu

 

Pei Di

 

Dwelling in seclusion in this
wooded mount deeply or not,

You should appreciate the
scenery to your heart's content.

Do not do anything as the
Wuling fisherman did,

He stayed only one day in the
Peach Blossom Country.

 

8. 八阵图

 

杜甫

 

功盖三分国，

名成八阵图。

江流石不转，

遗恨失吞吴。

 

The Eight-sided
Fortress

 

Du Fu

 

In the course to form the three
kingdoms, his merit was unparalleled,

The Eight-sided Fortress made
him win a good name.

The river is flowing but the
stones are standing still,

The eternal regret is that Liu
Bei was failed to conquer Wu.

 

 

9. 行宫

 

元稹

 

寥落古行宫，

宫花寂寞红。

白头宫女在，

闲坐说玄宗。

The ancient temporary imperial
palace is deserted,

The lone flowers in the palace
are red.

The white-haired maids of honor
are sitting at leisure,

And talking about Tang Emperor
Xuanzong.

 

 

10. 终南望余雪

 

祖咏

 

终南阴岭秀，

积雪浮云端。

林表明霁色，

城中增暮寒。

The shady north side of Mt.
Zhongnan is beautiful,

Its white top is covered by
floating clouds.

The surface of the forest is bright,

While the town becomes colder
and colder.

 

 

11. 宿建德江

 

孟浩然

 

移舟泊烟渚，

日暮客愁新。

野矿天底树，

江清月近人。

 

A Night-mooring On
Jiande River

 

Moving my boat and mooring it
at the misty island,

I feel more uneasy at dusk.

How wide the world and how
close the trees to the heaven!

On the clear river, the moon
nears me.

 

 

12. 春晓

 

孟浩然

 

春眠不觉晓，

处处闻啼鸟。

夜来风雨声，

花落知多少。

 

Spring Dawn

 

Sleeping in spring made me
failed to realize daybreak,

Crying birds can be heard
everywhere.

Wind and rain were roaring at
night,

Don't know how many flowers
fell down.

 

 

13. 怨情

 

李白

 

美人卷珠帘，

深坐颦蛾眉。

但见泪痕湿，

14. 登鹳雀楼

 

王之涣

 

白日依山尽，

黄河入海流。

欲穷千里目，

更上一层楼。

15. 送灵澈

 

刘长卿

 

苍苍竹林寺，

杳杳钟声晚。

荷笠带斜阳，

未谙姑食性，

seclusion, don't buy Mt. Wozhou,

Because it’s been well known by

21. 江雪

 

柳宗元

 

千山鸟飞绝，

万径人踪灭，

孤舟蓑笠翁，

独钓寒江雪。

Hundreds of mounts without a
bird,

Thousands of paths without a
footprint.

Wearing a bamboo cloak in a
lonely boat,

An old man is fishing by
himself in the cold river's snow.

 

 

22. 行宫

 

元稹

 

寥落古行宫，

宫花寂寞红。

白头宫女在，

闲坐说玄宗。

Flowers are already red but no
one comes to appreciate them.

The white-haired
ladies-in-waiting are sitting there,

 Leisurely gossiping Emperor Xuanzong.

 

 

23. 问刘十九

 

白居易

 

绿蚁新醅酒，

红泥小火炉。

晚来天欲雪，

能饮一杯无？

24. 何满子

 

张祜

 

故国三千里，

深宫二十年。

一声何满子，

双泪落君前。

Three thousand miles away from

She's been living in the Palace
for twenty years.

Her name Ho Manzi was called,

She shed tears before the
Emperor.

 

 

25. 登乐游原

 

李商隐

 

向晚意不适，

驱车登古原。

夕阳无限好，

只是近黄昏。

言师采药去。

只在此山中，

金昌绪

莫教枝上啼。

啼时惊妾梦，

不得到辽西。

I don't let it sing on the branch.

Its crying will break my dream,

So that I cannot arrive in
Liaoxi.

 

 

29. 哥舒歌

 

西鄙人

 

北斗七星高，

哥舒夜带刀。

至今窥牧马，

不敢过临洮。

 

A Song About Geshu

 

A person from Xibei

 

The Big Dipper is bright and
high,

Sword in hand, Geshu went out
for watch at night.

Though peeping the horses only,

The barbarians don't dare to go
beyond Lintao.
