chinese doctor

给宝宝念了一些有关中国的书。很多书都会提到中医，宝宝对针灸有点的好奇。刚好那天经过一家中药店，她发现了招牌都是用中文的，立刻要求我教她念那些中文字。

当我告诉她这是中药店，里面就有一个chinese doctor who practices acupuncture,她眼睛立刻睁得大大的，一脸兴奋的说：a chinese doctor in USA??!! (估计她以为chinese doctor只待在china)

broken family

还是讲中国的书,书上提到中国政府限制每个家庭只能有1个孩子，所以每个家庭成员只有爸爸妈妈和一个孩子，三个人。刚好我们也只有三个人，她就认定每个家庭只有三个人，或要有三个人才是一个family。

那天我们在散步，她突然发表意见：now we are broken family because daddy is not here with us now. when he comes back, we will be a whole family again.

why a taxi doesn't need socks and shoes

那天出门前宝宝又闹了，我让她带玩具车taxi一起去上学。她自己穿好鞋子在stroller里坐好了，抱着taxi说：of course taxi doesn't need socks and shoes　。。。。　（我正在暗自高兴她发现taxi不是人，没有脚，当然也就不需要袜子和鞋子，然后就听见她继续说：）i am holding him here in the stroller, his doesn't need to walk on the road.

of vs off

那天宝宝又在那大发言论，我又在那梦游，突然听见她问我：mom. the light is off. how to spell "off"?

我脱口就说：o f

宝宝用很疑惑的眼光看着我：how to read "o f f"?

我才梦醒：you are right，should be "o f f"。

之后宝宝常问过如何spell "off"来确认我没有再"make a mistake"。




如果妈妈再生一个baby

那天我又无聊的问宝宝：妈妈再生个baby好吗？

她听见了有点担心的说：i don't know how to change the diaper。

我还没来得及反应，她接着说：but i can help to pour the milk。。。。。but i will spill the milk。
