express elevator and local elevator
cc knows there are express train and local train, and of course she knows express train is the one who goes very very fast because express train doesn't make local stops。and she knows there are express buses running on the road too.
so, one day when we were at the elevator, she suddenly said to me:this is a local elevator。
it took me two seconds to digest that sentence, and before i opened my mouth to tell her that there is no such thing as local elevator, i remembered there are some express elevators in super high buildings.
so, she is right, we are at a local elevator.
hand washing
i had good mood today and i told cc that we were going to have cakes from the bakery.
happily, we bought 2 slices of cakes and while we were on our way home, i was starting to unwrap mine.
she found out and told me: mom, you haven't washed your hand yet.
i was like: woh, look who is talking now.
but i did put the cake back and told her i agree with her.
she was glad that i put the cake back and told me she would let me eat that cake after i wash my hand.
no, i am not an angel
i accidently kicked her toy box and my toes were hurt. she heard my scream and asked me what's wrong.
i told her about the hurting toes. she felt sorry and started to pat them.
i told her that she is my angel.
she disagreed and said : no, i am not an angel, i have no wings.
i explained to her that when someone says someone is an angel, that means that someone is a really nice person. she quickly changed her mind and said she is in fact an angel.
politeness
after reading the story "three little piggies", she notices the sentence which repeated 3 times in the story : "pls sir, will you give me some.... to build a house ?".
she could not understand why the piggies need to ask so politely. i tried to explain many times, she still find that idea strange.
but she does realize when she asks me nicely, she will get things she wants faster. she even learned to say "could i borrow this?"
and at the same time, she is very curious why do i say "thank you", "sorry". she will ask me the reason whenever she hears me say those terms.
it's good because she is actually learning the concept of politeness.
but once, she told: i am a bad girl. i want to steal your things. (i have no idea where did she learn the word steal).
i calmly told her that stealing is a very wrong action, it's actually a crime and the policeman will put her into the jail. she starts to get interested because she remembers Polo was being put into jail after offending the Eagle. i spent 10min or more to tell her the miserable life she would have if she ends up in the jail. she starts to get worry and quickly announce that she is a good girl and she doesn't steal.
