Toothbrush, Lesbians and Mind
Once you left home it’ll never be the same again
Dark Quiet Strange Unfamiliar Your own absence
You got to meet all of them on your brother’s wedding
Waking from a long night you have nothing left
Not even a toothbrush to make you feel fresh The new day
The young lady’s behind felt so soft in the crowded shop
Fine cotton Soft silk Wet hair Stagnant air
All fighting for something Toothbrush Bread Soap Sardine
Eyes angry Startled Despair Memory-less Claustrophobic
She accused your reckless hand for having nowhere to rest
Meaningless fight desire of innocence of purity of death
Slowly the flow of light of whisper of hands of flesh
She talked softly watching a woman’s breasts being touched
The third is an outsider holding his aroused boner
Watching the creamy light travel Touch Tease
The blushed faces Eyes Nice teeth Openings Growth
Seductive feast Mindless beast Dying to be born
She took him in her mouth Pompeii Mt St. Helens
The paper bride is painfully young returning to life
in a white castle like a shopping mall in America
You followed the red Double-happiness to the banquet
Huge emptiness Silent Soundless laughter Photos
Smell of dry grass of red wine of fog of sex
The ordinary looking bride is blind but pregnant with sun
The white wedding dress looks ridiculous on her
The pictures froze Light fading Breathing Returning

Rich Contents and fragmentary form
Of the poem
Reminding me of paintings
Of surrealism
Or cubism
Each fragment is a mirror
In which I see
Broken reality and contradiction
Deeply hidden - - -
"We" are sandwiched
Between Past and Present
- - - "Not even a toothbrush
To make you feel fresh"
Toothbrush is an archetype
For Renewing or something
To energize ourselves
And "we" are caught
In double sexuality
Man/woman, woman/woman
Here sexuality does not simply
Mean Sex
But intense desire
Or extreme joy
Oppressed by reality
- - -"Pompeii Mt St. Helens"
(Damn, I love it!!!)
Last but not least
I see hallow smiles
Empty happiness
Silent laughter
Here comes the reality
Where hope is not totally lost
- - -
"The ordinary looking bride
Is blind
But pregnant with sun"
(More coming . . .)
