In the Middle of the Desert, I find a Young Tree
Beautifully standing
Smiles to embrace the harsh
Sun that kills all
The tender greens in sight
My body, exhausted after the journey
has found its true companion
So I name it after you
And lay in its edible, purplish shade
The world fades away
For the time being
WHO "I" am no longer matters
What "I" have learned has been undone
I am convinced
We were born from the same Mother
Fed on the same breasts
Though thousand miles apart
I want it simple, this love!
In the middle of the desert, so close to you
My face in your palms, slowly undressing
Renaming each minute of our love’s passing
In the middle of the desert
I have found you and the life
All around you
And all the lives inside me
:6/2/05
you
are
welcooooome :)
T.G.I.F :)
some word choices are very interesting
&
good!
:)
thanx!
"I want it simple, this love!"
which means natural, love for the sake of love
道德经》in human world...
Water in desert,
light in darkness,
love in whatever..
年龄增长,世事洞明,唯有赤子般的率真,返朴归真才能永葆青春!!:)
齐诵《道德经》!!!!
:)
His best prose is the Labyrinth of Solitude, but I started with In light of India for no particular reason.
poems collected in his a draft of shadow & a tree within
are really really good
beautifull said, ltg, also Dao De Jing is a "bible" of Jung :)
Hmmm....No wonder..
"We" came from them....
"We" want love....
"We" need love....
"We" want to love....
From whom do we learn about Love??
Mother Nature, Father Nature....where Life springs from....
When i meet a loving person, for example, there is always some earthy quality in her....
BTW,
Dao De Jing is one of the greatest books ever written by two-legged creatures:)
true, a good poem has a strengh/energy of "opening self (of poet and readers)"
so, art should also be nature-like....natural, to say the least....
love without nature is not love.....
I feel that a good poem fills with condensed energy!
When talk to the artistic friends through computer, my logical mind is being stained with the "vague and tender" colors..:)
the deeper, the more
. . .
amazing!!!
strangeness
cannot find its space
between "hearts
connected so enigmatically"
:)
don't be a "stranger"!!
:))
it is amazing how much wisdom you all have....really....
wow, "stranger" makes me think what is strange now :)
a good poem should contain good energy....
good energy not only travels between lovers, but also strangers....
are "we" strangers??
:)
Standing and growing in the desert needs tremendous strength..
Finding each other among the desert needs unexpected fortune
Falling in love with each needs Heaven's bless..
Whoever can find his/her true love is rrrrrreally blessed.
peace of the mind.....
glad i "caught" the poem before it escapes me :)
love the poem, it has strength beneath its tenderness, very beautiful
thanx 4 sharing!!!!
love it:)
