Yesterday, it rained and rained almost all day. I woke up around 11, which meant I had slept 12 hours during the night - needed that sleep to catch up on all the zzzs I had lost during the week. Ana went to a wedding, so I was the only one in the apartment when I woke up. I had some "Azucaritas" (frosted flakes) for breakfast and bread with dulce de leche (my FAVORITE stuff here so far). I decided to walk down Sante Fe and then Florida to explore around and then exchange that soccer jersey for a different size. I'd say it's at least 3 miles from the apartment. I walked up Corrientes and met up with Diamond and Josh at a little cafe for lunch. Ham is more popular here than I thought. Also, water isn't free. It costs around 7 pesos, but comes in a nice glass bottle. I guess Argentinians aren't big fans of tap water...
Josh and Diamond went to go see "Angeles y Demonios" (in english!) while Sarah, who had met up with us at the cafe, and I walked around and chilled at a bookstore for a while. Around 6 or so, I went back to the apartment to find that Ana was still out. It was nice to come back to the apartment and just relax for a bit. I read a little of the reading for class, and then it was time to meet up with the group for dinner at "Locos por el futbol" and watch the Cavs/Magic game. Not a very interesting game, but the Cavalliers lost :( So Orlando is playing LA.
LLA LA LALLALAA and then it was bed time!
