I am getting excited

As I prepare to go to the goldfields to examine some of my claims, there is one claim that is too high up the mountain that I do not feel comfortable to go myself and my son, so I found somebody nearby who organize trips in that area to act as my guide. I got a message from him yesterday:

"I have looked at your claims online.  That's an interesting area as it is right on top of a beautiful heritage site with existing gravel sites from the 1800's.  Currently there is no road access, although the reasonable road route would be via gxxe creek, but still require some significant construction expense.

I can take you up there and back easily in a day, and, in fact would require a drive, and then a hike.  I can do this with an early morning departure any weekday, for $xx for you and your son. 

As you may be able to tell from my description on the website, this is a very beautiful location, and a wonderfull trip.  If your intention is to do a little hand mining, you will see many remnants of previous and historical owners in this area."

The fact that he mentioned there are a lot of old mining sites is music to my ears. The fact that oldtimers had worked there means there is enough gold in the old days for them to be interested, so there is gold for sure. 

The purpose for the trip is just to go up there, do some panning, and taking some samples and some rocks to see if it is worth holding for the future.
