She Made My Day

So I have accepted offers to these three condos. One studio, two one bedrooms. I think I got pretty good deals on these. I was happy to get them.

But I need mortgages. Because they are in a remote small town, banks are reluctant. I have other properties in this town with one bank, so I went to this bank, giving them all the papers, and providing all and every piece of information they asked. The banker is nice, but he was shocked the number of loans I have. He made his best effort, I think. On last Friday, he told me that he had sent all the information to get approval, but he was not sure whether it would be approved,since the subject-removal date is just five days away, I should find another bank for back up.

I immediately went to another bank where I have most of my mortages. The banker knows me well, so she went into action right away. She was supposed to go home at three in the afternoon on Friday, but she stayed after five to process my applications. On Saturday, when she was supposed to be home, she called me from her office, and asked me more questions. I thanked her, since I know she is in office to work on my file, she said she had to finish it, otherwise it would be too late for subject removal.

Today, when I got home after five o'clock, I listened to the message she left: the mortgages for all three have been approved!

I have to put a lot of down payment for these units because they are in a small town: 35% down. But I am happy. I have a plan to add more units, to a total of ten units. Now I can make more offers.
