From Thianksgiving, via Christmas, and to New Yearis are the holiday season. This is most exciting time of the entire year. Christmas shopping is also fun. Generating the list to give the presents, getting gift ideas for each person, hunting for the gifts, and receiving and opening the gifts, every action can be a very interesting reseach project. This year, lots of new toys are attractive to me.
Electrnics: 32" hd lcd, 1080p are very cheap and attractive. Less than $600 usd, incredible? Ipod nano 8g ($200usd) or Ipod video 80g ($350usd). woooo............. Unfortunitely, I have all these. I had enough gadges. PDAs with windows ce or palm os. sony or palmone. I have them all.
Hay, there is one thing I do not have. Portable GPS, I can use it for travel, maps can be downloaded from internet for every country before i go; and I can convert it into mp4 since it windows ce base. Mio 310x meets my needs. Circuit city is near by. got one, no no no ..... It is too cheap, got two at least. One can stay in my car, one will travel with me. Tried one of them, lots of fun. Just about ready to convert it to mp4 player. My lovely Christmas thief smashed my car windows, and grabbed GPS unit along with all accessaries. He probably can sell it on ebay for $400USD. It is ok if he or she ask for $400 as Christmas gifts. Taking so much efforts to fix the broken windows is quite good experience. Ha ha ........ What you can do? Somebody liked your toy. Leftover was standard precedure, called police unit, officer gave me a case number, cleaned the window glass, and called insurance. Guess what, my windows was broken around 7pm, by 10am next morning, the window is fixed, car runs as nothing happened. I am still able to find home, work place, and friends home. Nothing is wrong without GPS. What should I do for the 2nd GPS unit? It has been carefully wrapped as a Christmas gift for myself. And I will have fun again after Christmas day. The first trial of this one will be to test the instruction given on my way to watch broadway show at Manhattan after Christmas. Hope it bring me to the correct theater, and get my call-in ticket, bring me to Marriot hotel precisely. Hahahahaha...... And keep fingers crossed, the window should be stay whole piece, GPS should be stayed in my car after back home
I have been boardway many many many times, I think I am able to correct the mistakes GPS make.
Do I really need a GPS? Or I am a tester for GPS company?
