二宝在幼儿园

I have one hour's conversation with ErBao's teacher Ms. Kimbo forhis regular 6 month growth review at parent conference last week. The teacher said ErBao looked like a computer and tried to save anything he's interested. When being asked, he's quickly picked up his memory and spoken up. She also described ErBao a very earnest learner and good listener, which was reflected from his growth chart, he obviously jumped substantial level up at reading, vocabulary, social and communication fields as well. Besides these, she told me some interesting stories about ErBao happened at daycare.

During lunch time, the kids always compare the number of boys and girls just for fun. Usually the boys would like to sit together and have a table talk first. One day, one boy said "there's only one girl sit at our table." Another boy immediately corrected:" no, it should be two, Ms Kimbo is also a girl." ErBao disagreed,” No, Ms Kimbo is not a girl,she's a lady." Ms Kimbo was very excited to hear that. “Yes, I am a grown up lady. Thanks, Gentleman.”

Oneday after lunch, it’s the time to set up mat for nap. Erbao was asked to help teacher distribute the sheet. He’s given a pink sheet for Blake. He hesitated to go, when the teacher asked him why, he said”Blake doesn’t like pink b/c he’s a boy.” “Oh yes, I forgot”. The teacher changed the sheet and praised ErBao for his good consideration.

Erbao used to be very shy during the group time; however, He became much more open and talkative since he turned to 4. His weekend update on Monday morning was a good example.

Here’s one:

“On Saturday, I went to Chinese school. I forgot my Chinese book; my mom didn’t know where it is. We learn writing Chinese letters there. I played soccer on Sunday at the park, it’s a soccer game…and I made the goal!”
