Miscarriages

      Burgher International Equity and Justice Institute is a well-known non-governmental civil society organization, which received many illegal immigrants, providing them with accommodation and vocational training, and then assigned them to some detention centers, apartments of older persons and schools of persons with disabilities as waste haulers, cleaners, mowers or kitchen assistants. These displaced total strangers are very grateful to the non-government organization for helping them. Meanwhile, the civil society organization received lots of funds from some Foundations of democracy or human rights, as enjoyed benefiting from these cheaper labors, who don not need to be provided health insurance and minimum wage protection,

Guangming Zhu is blind, when taking with his wife and daughter went to United States for tourist stayed in the US, he claimed that he was one of the heads of organizations of persons with disabilities in China, suffered persecution for his criticizing the Chinese Government’s policy for persons with disabilities. His story touched many people, and then he and his family members were sent to Burgher International Equity and Justice Institute. 

Miss Rollins is Director of a School for the blind and dumb, she was glad and welcome Guangming Zhu and his family were allotted to her School. Even as trying to learn English Braille, Guangming Zhu spent most of his time using traditional Chinese medical massage, acupuncture and cupping for relief of suffering in many teachers and students. At the same time as his wife and his daughter, both of them are normal, worked as toilet cleaners while studying English in the school, also helped Guangming Zhu curing some patients.

Soon Miss Rollins had drawn conclusion when talking with Mr. Zhu’s wife and daughter that Mr. Zhu had been a traditional Chinese blind physical therapist after graduated from a school for the blind in China, and also was a model worker known as “never bow to fate” in his home province, he came to US due to unhappy for China’s one-child policy, hoping his wife, who was an assistant nurse in a blind person center of China, give birth to a son in US.

Miss Rollins was very sympathetic to Mr. Zhu’s situation when admired his spunky, fortitudinous character. However, she didn’t understand and can’t accept his so dishonest for his motive of staying in the US.

During the next year, Zhu’s wife has had twice miscarriages for her long time and a lot of exposure to a kind of synthetic detergent which contains hyper-toxic ingredients of pesticide and antiseptic. When Zhu’s wife was found to be pregnant again and had severe vomiting shortly afterward, Miss Rollins suspected that she must have been subjected to inhuman treatment, and may even be raped.

She sent to install hidden video surveillance in their place. Zhu and his family lived in a small room which was segregated to two cells with curtain, she found Zhu often had sex with his wife didn’t shy away from his daughter.

As a not-married elder woman, Miss Rollins would not tolerate any adult having sex by the side of an unmarried girl who even showed no objection. She talked with Zhu’s wife and her daughter separately about the matter, Zhu’s wife denied any rape happened and explained that she and her husband had sex were usually after her daughter fell asleep in. Her daughter who was 14 years old, refused to answer either questions Miss Rollins asked.

Not a long time, Zhu’s wife to go-amiss again, Miss Rollins assailed Guangming Zhu lividly with questions about if his wife was abused, Zhu pointed out that his wife endured three miscarriages during only more than one year, while the heavy physical work she engaged daily in should be blamed. He damned the US society crammed hypocrisy, corruption and inhumane.

Driving by the conscience of protection of the women and children, Miss Rollins revealed real motive and purpose for politic asylum of Gusngming Zhu to immigration officials, and do a deal with them that when they were routine checking the school, arrested Guangming Zhu for his abusing to his wife, but leaving his wife and daughter under the legal protection in the US.

After Guangming Zhu was repatriated, the teachers and students of the school were outrage by Miss Rollins’ dirty trick, and no people trusted her any more. Couple days later, Zhu’s wife hanged herself in a bathroom she worked, and her daughter was sent to be adapted by another family.
