深夜，我静候她的光临，

仿佛我的生活悬于一线。

荣誉，青春，自由算什么

在这位手持笛子的可爱客人身边？

 

她来了！她掀开面纱，

深入注视我的眼睛。

我问她：“你是否给但丁

口授了地狱篇？” 她回答：“我是。”

Dictating, in Hell?’ She answers: ‘I’.
