Olivia's Christmas List

Olivia already knows that Santa does not really exist, but to keep the secret from Evan, she has been silent about it. She wrote a note about her Christmas wish list and left on my table and…it was quite expensive for a soon to be 11 year-old. I have to say it is very hard to buy gift for her now at her age. Here is the note.

My Christmas List:

1)      Cell phone (Blue or Green but not Pink!)

2)      Camera (able to take video)

3)      iPad

4)      The Magnetic Chess Board

5)      Taylor Swift CD Special Edition (at Target) 

These are my top choices. If you can't get all, please at least get one of them. Please use the stocking too. Hope you have a great Christmas!

So Olivia got a very nice camera, the special edition Taylor Swift CD and a sandalwood fan from Aunt Kailei in China this morning. She was very happy. She secretly said "Thank you!" to me and requested to hug me and snuggle with me. She also said: "Mom, I want to let you know that I love you." three times. I was like: "Olivia, why are you keeping on telling me that you love me?" She smiled and said: "Oh, I just don't think people say enough 'I love you' to the people they love."

Is this the after effect of the gift giving? J
