Nice to be Back

I just returned from China after staying there for three weeks taking care of family health emergencies. Once again, Daddy took care of the two little things while I was gone which I truly appreciate. Without his support, I would not be able to concentrate on supporting my family in China to get through this toughest time if I have to take care of and worry about the kids at the same time. Everyone of my family in China appreciated his effort and me more so as he always supports me in situations like this and never complains.

I missed my family in America while I was in China and I am very glad to come home and found everyone safe and sound. The kids loved the toys I got for them. Evan even asked me to go back to China and get more. But then he also said that he would not want me to go to China anymore as it was too long (for me to be gone) and even the trip to the airport to pick me up was too long for him too (2 hours away).

Olivia is still the same; behaving like a teenager girl now and told me all these things happened while I was gone. We were more physical than usual in terms of hugs and kissesJ. It seemed to me that Evan grew taller and is becoming clingier to me after my return, calling me "mommy" like a baby sometimes and asking me to play with him all the time.

This past Saturday morning after I woke up from a nap (couldn't sleep through the night due to jet lag), without me saying anything, Evan brought me a banana and then ran downstairs and got me a cup of water. I asked what he was doing, he said:" In case you are hungry, this is your breakfast." How sweet! J
