Silly or Funny

I think Evan is having his delayed terrible two recently. He would say no to things we asked him to do and do what we asked him not to. He constantly pushes the limit and if he does not get his way, he would throw a fit.   

Today when we dropped Olivia off at her dancing class, Evan decided that he wanted to get off the car from Olivia’s side. Since Olivia was already outside of the car waiting for me and the class had already started, I just picked him up and rushed to the classroom. He was screaming “I want to go Olivia’s side.” all the way to the classroom and back out disturbing all the people in the waiting room which by the way was very quiet before we showed up.  

At the parking lot, I put him down and opened the door by his car seat. He was still crying “I want to go Olivia’s side” when he got into the car,  opened the door on Olivia’s side, got out of the car, ran around the back of the car and got into the car from his side again and stopped crying after the mission was accomplished.  

I teased him while I was buckling him “Why were you crying, silly boy.” He immediately protested: “I am not silly! I am funny! Don’t call me silly!”
