Noodles on the Face

I was watching a Chinese movie yesterday afternoon when Evan woke up from his nap and stumbled into my room with rosy cheeks and sleepy eyes.

He glanced at the TV screen and saw the lead character and his 哥们 (best buddies) playing the poker game with paper strips sticking to the eyes or noses of those who had lost the game.

Do not know whether he was still sleepy and didn’t see clearly or what, he asked me: “Mommy, why they have noodles on their face?”
