I read three articles about the cases of Homicide, child endangerment and animal cruelty, on the Bucks County Herald, August 15, 2024. Barbara gave me the newspaper.

1)Police: Double homicide under investigation in Buckingham. Written by Freda R. Savana
According to Buckingham police and the Bucks County District Attorney’s office, two adult males and one adult female were found shot in head in the home, located in The Ridings of Buckingham neighborhood.
Steven Chow, 59, shot and killed 21-years-old Raymond Chow and 63-years-old Amy Troung while they were lying in their beds, officials said, before killing himself a short time later.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Buckingham Township Police Department or
Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.
*  I think:
The three appeared to be members of a family that had been killed because of a serious family feud. Their last name is Chow and they appear to be Chinese. I have previously seen reports that there is a Chinese couple in California working at Google, and the husband killed his wife and then committed suicide. Family members should love each other, and conflicts should be dealt with calmly and reasonably, and should not develop into hatred. It is recalled that during the Cultural Revolution in China, the masses formed factions due to different views, which developed into armed fighting. There are also students who beat their teachers, causing many people to lose their lives. It is normal for people to have different views on society, we should treat others equally and respect others. You can't always think that you are right and ask others to obey you!

2) Richland cop facing child endangerment charges. Written by John Anastasi
Bucks County Detectives have charged a Richland Township police officer with endangering the welfare of his 5-years-old son by leaving him home alone.
The change against Joshua Fonseca, 33, who lives in the township, is a misdemeanor, according to the court documents. The officer’s formal arraignment in Doylestown is scheduled for Aug.30.
Court documents state that the alleged incident occurred on the afternoon of April 22. A neighbor out walking their dog encountered a shoeless boy “ crying hysterically”  as he ran out the front door of a home. When the child got to the street, he stopped running, but began to wander into the roadway.
Sgt. Mike Kisthardt, of the Richland Township police, said Fonseca has been on leave from the department since  May 20, which court documents list as the date the charges were filed.
*  I think:
Children should be taken good care of when they are young. But if both parents work, it is impossible to take care of children at home, in China, more by grandparents to take care of. Or the mother did not work staying home to take care of the children. Maybe there will be more kindergartens to take care of children in the future.

3) Farm owner facing cruelty and neglect charges after Bucks SPCA seizes 100+ animals. Written by Jody.
Charges are pending against the owner of a farm in Wrightstown, where the Bucks County SPCA last week took custody of more than 100 animals in what it called a “ large-scale farm animal cruelty and neglect case.”
The farm owner, Abigail O’Keefe , was found to have left the country with no confirmation of when or if she planned to return.
The agency said, 25 of the sickest animals were transported to BCSPCA’s Quakertown Shelter and barn to begin receiving care under the direction of the agency’s director of shelter medicine and in consultation with large animal veterinarians.
*I think:
Shouldn't animals be abused? But humans raise animals for themselves. Raising cows, sheep, chickens, and ducks, and finally killing them to eat meat. China even kills dogs and cats! Keeping dogs and cats is to enrich the owner's life. When the owner doesn't like them, they may be abandoned by the owner and become stray cats and dogs. When a certain animal poses a threat to humans, such as the American bison, humans kill them on a large scale. This is reality.
